Job summary

St. Augustine Ambulatory Surgery Center, LLC is seeking a dedicated PRN Circulating Nurse to join our operating room team. You will support surgical procedures, ensure sterile setup, and act as liaison among the team and other healthcare professionals.

The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and calm performance in a fast-paced environment. Prior OR circulating nurse experience and RN licensure are required, with BLS/ACLS certifications essential.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Previous circulating nurse OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare the operating room and ensure sterile equipment and supplies.
• Monitor the patient’s condition during procedures and provide support as needed.
• Document all perioperative information per hospital policies.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety standards in the OR.
• Assist with patient positioning for surgery.
• Facilitate clear communication between the team, patients, and families.
