Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assists in preparing Operating Room or Procedure Room by ensuring sterilized, maintained, and available instruments and supplies.
• Transports patients to Pre-operative Area, Operating Room, or Procedure Room in a caring and professional manner.
• Assists with patient preps and positioning prior to surgical procedures.
• Acts as second scrub to assist with case setup and provide visualization assistance for the physician.
• Coordinates instrument processing and ensures equipment is in good working order.
