The role also covers phone inquiries and daily paperwork in a busy practice.

This position offers both part-time and full-time opportunities with weekend shifts required; prior optometry experience is a plus but not mandatory, and basic computer tools training is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred to assist a diverse patient base.
• Excellent customer service is a must.
• Weekend shifts are required (Saturday & Sunday).
• Experience in an optometry office is a plus but not required.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and QuickBooks, Crystal PM, and Microsoft Word.

Aufgaben

• Act as receptionist for doctors; schedule examinations and confirm appointments, collect fees, and maintain daily deposits and patient records.
• Operate pre-testing equipment (training provided) and maintain accurate filing of patient charts.
• Plan and schedule patient appointments and handle basic medical billing (training provided).
• Greet and assist patients and answer inbound calls.
