Job summary

Secouniversity in San Francisco is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join their dynamic MD/OD team in the heart of the city’s transit hub. This full-time role offers a 40-hour work week in a busy practice of board-certified eye physicians and surgeons focused on vision protection.

You will handle glaucoma care, including comprehensive diagnostics, medical management, and stability assessments, as well as cataract management with pre- and post-operative care and refractions.

Qualifications

• Optometrist with focus on comprehensive ocular diagnostics.
• Experience with glaucoma care and post-operative referrals is a plus.
• Familiarity with patient education and triage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive diagnostics and medical management for glaucoma patients.
• Perform pre-operative evaluation and post-operative care for cataract patients.
• Engage in workflow efficiency through co-management, patient education, and triage.
• Counsel patients and explore newer treatment options for dry eye management.
