Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive optometric examinations and vision care.
• Prescribe spectacles, contact lenses, and non-optical aids within licensure.
• Conduct specialized testing such as perimetry, tonometry, and low-vision evaluations.
• Maintain compliance with Kaiser Permanente policies and applicable laws.
• Coordinate with Coordinating Optometrists to ensure member satisfaction and program viability.
• Collaborate with Vision Services team including Optical Lab and Optical Dispensing.
• Promote high-quality, culturally sensitive patient care.
• May rotate to other MOBs within the Medical Center Service Area.
