Job summary

Brookside Optometric Group in Stockton, CA is seeking a full-time optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care and improve patients’ quality of life. The practice, affiliated with VSP Vision, uses advanced technology and a patient-centered approach.

This role offers a Monday–Saturday schedule, clinical autonomy, and opportunities for LASIK co-management and specialty contact lens fittings. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• OD degree and licensure to practice in California.
• 1–3 years clinical practice preferred; new grads welcome.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and patient‑centered care.
• Leadership, organization, and business‑minded aptitude are valued.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective eyewear.
• Determine contact lens prescriptions and fit specialty lenses as needed.
• Open practice hours include Monday–Saturday with modern technology support.
