imatters is seeking a skilled Optometrist to join our Florida practice on a full-time, onsite basis in Jacksonville and Gainesville. You will deliver comprehensive eye care to a diverse patient base, supported by an experienced staff that keeps your day running smoothly and allows you to practice at the top of your license.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted Florida optometry license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Proficiency in comprehensive eye examinations and diagnostic interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions.
• Manage a schedule of 20+ patients per day from primary to quick follow ups.
• Provide recommendations to the team for eyewear and contact lenses.
• Review diagnostic testing—auto refracting, visual fields, OCT, fundus photos, and tonometry—prepared by the workup team.
• Educate patients on eye health, treatment options, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with front-desk and optical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.

What You’ll Do

Required Qualifications
