Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics is seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care for patients, diagnosing and treating vision-related symptoms, and guiding staff in patient treatment. This position reports to the Vice President of Optometric Services with locations in Lakewood, Aurora, and Denver.

The ideal candidate holds a state optometry license, enjoys working with children, and can manage Medicaid/NPI requirements while delivering high-quality care and

• State optometry license in good standing
• Strong interest in working with children
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Provide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans to help patients achieve optimal vision health
• Foster teammate satisfaction and retention by supporting staff growth and open feedback
• Arrange for referral to vision specialists when appropriate
• Prepare a doctor case file including medical history and informing patients on eye health and treatment techniques

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics iscurrently seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care for all patients, diagnosing and treating vision-related symptoms, as well as instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment. This position will report to the Vice President of Optometric Services, with locations inLakewood, Aurora,andDenver.

Pay range: $145K-$170K/yr

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Provide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans to help them achieve optimal vision health, using accepted clinical and diagnostic techniques
• Build a community within the practice that fosters teammate satisfaction and retention by developing strategies to achieve organizational goals, being available to staff, accepting feedback from others, developing subordinates’ skills, and encouraging growth
• Arrange for referral to vision specialists when appropriate
• Prepare a doctor case file including medical history, informing patients on general care and health of eyes at regular time intervals, and staying informed on the latest vision treatment techniques
