Academy Kids Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking an Optometrist for a part-time Saturday position to provide preventive and restorative eye care for patients.

You will diagnose vision problems, develop treatment plans, guide staff on patient care, and coordinate referrals as needed. Salary is $500-$650 per day.

Qualifications

• State optometry license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children.
• Ability to acquire or maintain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle a diverse workload.
• Ability to multi-task and complete tasks correctly and on time.

• Deliver high-quality care and service by responding promptly to patient, caregiver, and team needs
• Examine patients, diagnose diseases, and effectively treat and perform all necessary procedures
• Provide comprehensive professional vision treatment plans to help them achieve optimal vision health, using accepted clinical and diagnostic techniques
• Build a community within the practice that fosters teammate satisfaction and retention by developing strategies to achieve organizational goals, being available to staff, accepting feedback from others, developing subordinates' skills, and encouraging growth
• Arrange for referral to vision specialists when appropriate
• Prepare a doctor case file including medical history, informing patients on general care and health of eyes at regular time intervals, and staying informed on the latest vision treatment techniques

Academy Kids Dental, Vision and Orthodontics in Colorado Springs, CO, is currently seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care for all patients, diagnosing and treating vision-related symptoms, as well as instructing staff on how to assist in patient treatment.

This is a part-time position for Saturdays only.

Pay range: $500-$650/day
