Job summary

Eyes On Eyecare in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a motivated optometrist for a full-time private practice role. You will join two ODs, three technicians, and a supportive front desk team to deliver patient-centered eye care in a modern clinic with an in-house lab, providing fast glasses turnover.

Ideal candidates are entrepreneurial, team players, and fluent in providing high-quality vision care; Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree required.
• Valid state license to practice optometry.
• Strong workplace professionalism and personal ethics.
• Customer-service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations.
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients.
• Maintain detailed patient records using clinic systems.
• Handle eyecare emergencies.
