Job summary

Dr. Green Optical is seeking a dedicated Optometrist to deliver high-quality primary eye care with comprehensive eye examinations and ocular disease management. You will collaborate with our ophthalmology team for surgical co-management and sub-specialty care.

Responsibilities include prescribing optical corrections, managing patient care, and maintaining EMRs, with licensure required in the state. Competitive base salary plus bonus, benefits, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited school of optometry.
• Active and unrestricted Optometry License in [State].
• Therapeutic Licensure (TPA) preferred (not required).
• Excellent clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vision and ocular health examinations for patients of all ages.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular conditions and diseases (e.g., glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, diabetic retinopathy).
• Prescribe optical prescriptions, including single vision, progressive, and specialty contact lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care and co-management alongside ophthalmologists.
• Educate patients on preventative eye care, treatment plans, and proper contact lens hygiene.
• Accurately maintain patient EMRs in HIPAA-compliant manner.
