Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our Eye Clinic. The ideal candidate will be residency trained in primary care or ocular disease or have commensurate experience.

You will work with optometrists and ophthalmologists on a wide range of cases, including glaucoma and diabetes-related eye disease. We feature up-to-date diagnostic equipment, skilled technicians, and support staff.

Qualifications

• Residency training in primary care or ocular disease or commensurate experience.
• Experience diagnosing and managing glaucoma and diabetes-related eye disease.
• Experience with post-operative care and continuing care.
• Willing to see children 12 and under.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and monitor glaucoma and ocular diseases.
• Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists in a high-volume clinic.
• Provide on-call coverage one week per month.
• Perform routine family eye care and contact lens fittings.
• Refer for surgical interventions as needed and coordinate post-operative care.
