Job summary

Adventure Dental, Vision, & Orthodontics in Lakewood, CO is seeking an Optometrist to provide preventive and restorative eye care for patients of all ages. You will diagnose and treat vision-related symptoms and guide staff to assist in patient care, reporting to the Vice President of Optometric Services.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current state optometry license in good standing.
• Strong interest in working with children and families.
• Ability to obtain Medicaid Provider number and NPI number.
• Excellent attention to detail with ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality eye care and service, promptly addressing patient needs.
• Examine patients, diagnose eye conditions, and perform required procedures.
• Provide comprehensive treatment plans to achieve optimal vision health.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and support staff development.
• Refer to vision specialists when appropriate.
• Prepare patient case files with medical histories and follow-up plans.
