Job summary

Advantage Dental+ invites an Optometrist to join our Montgomery, AL practice. You will deliver vision care with clinical independence while we support clinical development, marketing, IT, HR, and operations.

Diagnose and treat patients, educate guardians about eye health, foster a welcoming atmosphere, and partner with the team to ensure high-quality care and patient retention. OD license is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• OD required and licensed or eligible for state licensure.
• Willingness to obtain optical licensure and certifications as required by the state.

Primary Responsibilities

• Diagnose and provide the appropriate vision treatment for patients while holding to the highest standards for patient care
• Educate patients and guardians on the importance of maintaining proper oral health and outlining goals for both medical and dental health considerations
• Develop a welcoming, supportive atmostphere for patients to help them feel comfortable with receiving treatment and encourage patient retention
• Partner with all team members in fostering a collaborative environment
