A family-owned optometry practice in Wichita Falls is seeking a motivated Optometrist to provide high-quality vision care. This role offers the chance to work in a medically-oriented practice, perform comprehensive eye exams, and engage in patient education. Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree or be pending qualification.
• Must have a valid Texas state license or be pending licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams and diagnose ocular diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide surgical care.
• Maintain patient records and handle emergencies.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Counsel patients to promote healthy vision and eye care.
• Maintain detailed patient records with diagnosis and progress.
• Handle eye care emergencies with timely response.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality care.

Three generations of doctors comprise our legacy, family-owned optometry practice. With three locations (and plans for further expansion), we proudly serve Northern Texas with the highest standard of care.

We are looking for a motivated, driven, and passionate Optometrist to join our team and family on a part-time or full-time basis!

About the Optometrist Position

Our new Optometrist will be an integral member of our team! You\'ll use your clinical and interpersonal skills to provide high-quality vision care to our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to gain diverse experience in a medically-oriented practice!

As an Optometrist in our practice, your regular duties will include:

Responsibilities

• Full-Scope
• Perform comprehensive eye exams
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease
• Prescribe corrective lenses
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients
• Promote healthy vision by counseling and educating patients
• Maintain detailed patient records regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and progress
• Handle eye care emergencies
