Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating ocular disease, and prescribing and fitting eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids. You will also be tasked with recommending appropriate patient follow-up and care options, answering questions, and providing advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues. Delivering outstanding customer service through all patient interactions is paramount—a typical day consists of 20 to 25 patients. Furthermore, you will direct staff and assist in the development of the overall practice. The practices are equipped with EHR, OPTOS, Automated Refraction Systems, OCT, VF, and ERG. This position offers a four-and-a-half-day work week, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.**Who You Are:**The ideal candidate is highly skilled in the general principles of optometry and best practices for diagnosing and treating eye-related disorders and conditions.
