Job summary

Merced Eye Care in Merced, CA is seeking a Doctor of Optometry to join our patient-forward team. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, prescribe lenses, and provide pre- and post-operative care while educating patients.

New graduates are welcome. We offer a competitive salary of 120,000 to 160,000 per year, annual bonus potential, a 401K with match, paid time off and modern facilities.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid optometry license in the state of California.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations utilizing the latest diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose and manage a variety of ocular conditions and diseases.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and provide expert advice on eye care and maintenance.
• Offer pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing ocular surgeries.
• Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Maintain meticulous patient records in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Work collaboratively with a team of optometrists, ophthalmologists, and support staff to ensure high-quality care.
