Shopko Optical in Northern Illinois seeks an Optometrist to join our experienced team. Full or Part-Time hours are available and you will support eyecare services across Northern Illinois, including Machesney Park, Belvidere, Huntley, Woodstock, and Algonquin.

We provide full ancillary support including screening and patient billing so doctors can focus on patient care. Our practice offers a competitive guaranteed salary, CME reimbursement, paid time away, disability and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• OD Degree from an ACOE approved College of Optometry
• Ability to communicate with customers and teammates
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive eye exams
• Contact lens fitting
• Refractive services
• Diagnose, treat, and manage eye disease
• Cataract and refractive surgery co-management
