Job summary

South Florida Vision is seeking an Optometrist to perform comprehensive vision exams, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote preventative eye health. You will collaborate with Ophthalmologists and subspecialists across multiple South Florida clinics and travel between locations as needed.

Residency-trained candidates are valued; Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, and new graduates are encouraged to apply. Competitive compensation includes bonuses and commissions.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• OD license in the state of practice
• Clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of duties
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vision exams
• Recommend vision-enhancing solutions and preventive eye health through patient education
• Collaborate with other Optometrists and Ophthalmologists and subspecialists (cornea, glaucoma, retina, refractive, oculoplastic)
