Eye To Eye Careers invites a licensed Optometrist to join an established Port Arthur practice. This full-time role offers a steady schedule, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM weekdays with Saturday coverage, and a supportive team including tech assistance and malpractice coverage.

The ideal candidate will be able to manage glaucoma cases, fit scleral contact lenses, and see about 14 patients daily while upholding high standards of patient care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Optometrist (O.D.).
• OD degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Experience with glaucoma management is preferred.
• Scleral contact lens fitting experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Examine and manage about 14 patients per day in a primary optical practice.
• Treat glaucoma and monitor ocular health as part of comprehensive care.
• Fit scleral contact lenses and coordinate with the team for patient needs.
• Provide high-quality patient care and maintain accurate records.

SCHEDULE/HOURS

• 5 days a week
• Saturdays required, OD gets to choose 1 day off during the week
• Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (1 hour lunch break)
• Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break)

**All states require Optometrists to be licensed. The ideal candidate must have obtained an O.D. Degree from an Accredited Optometry School and must have completed all sections of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry Exam.**
