Ascension is seeking an Optometrist to provide clinical care at DePaul Community Health Centers in the Greater New Orleans area. You will work with a dedicated team, offering full clinic support and a well-equipped facility.

Qualifications include a Doctor of Optometry, Louisiana license, and at least 1 year of experience with diverse populations. Strong communication and computer skills are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualificações

• Must have Louisiana OD license.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in optometry.
• Experience working with a diverse population.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and manage patients in the clinic.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and educate on medical issues.
• Diagnose and treat refractive and ocular disorders.
• Diagnose diseases affecting the eye and related structures.
• Enter patient information and maintain EMR documentation.
