Deliver comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and provide medical optometry care including pharmaceuticals. All while maintaining strong patient relationships and collaborating with a high-quality team committed to growth.

Qualifications

• OD degree required.
• Active Alaska license required.
• Patient-first mindset and strong clinical judgment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive eye exams and exceptional patient experiences.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular conditions and vision needs.
• Prescribe glasses and contact lenses with confidence and accuracy.
• Provide medical optometry care, including use of pharmaceuticals.
• Deliver pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Identify systemic health concerns and coordinate care as needed.
• Educate patients to help them take ownership of their eye health.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
