Job summary

Eyes On Eyecare in the Southern Detroit area seeks a licensed Optometrist for full‑time or part‑time roles. Our multi‑office practice, established in 1974, emphasizes comprehensive eye care with the latest diagnostic tools and a patient‑centered approach.

You will provide primary care and some medical eye care including glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, manage pre‑ and post‑operative care, and participate in a mentorship program for new ODs. Competitive salary with incentives and benefits.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree (or pending)
• Valid state license to practice optometry (or pending)
• We are seeking a team player with excellent clinical skills and attitude who always keeps the patient’s best interests in mind. The ability to be flexible to support a fast‑paced environment is also essential to this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care and medical eye care including glaucoma, age‑related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and cataract management and prescribe ophthalmic medications.
• Pre‑ and post‑operative surgical care for patients undergoing eye procedures.
