Job summary

Dr. Snipes & Associates is seeking an Optometrist to join our four-location practice in Louisville and Lexington. The successful candidate will deliver comprehensive primary eye care, utilizing autonomy and clinical judgment to determine the best care for patients.

You will work with advanced diagnostic technology and collaborate with staff to maintain high standards of patient care. New graduates are welcome and scheduling is flexible across full-time, part-time, or weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Hold Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited school.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain an active Kentucky optometry license.
• Maintain licensure and continuing education requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye examinations and medical eye care.
• Diagnose and manage ocular conditions within scope of optometry.
• Perform contact lens exams and fittings, including specialty lenses.
• Coordinate referrals and co-management with ophthalmology.
