Job description

Ready to supercharge your career on the East Coast? Dive into an exceptional opportunity at D’Ambrosio Eye Care, a leading practice where optometry and ophthalmology seamlessly integrate. This unique environment offers unparalleled career growth and the chance to learn from the industry’s most respected experts. It’s an opportunity you won’t want to miss.

Why Join Us?

At D’Ambrosio Eye Care, their mission is clear: to be the finest eye care provider in Massachusetts. With six well-known, long-standing locations throughout Central Massachusetts, they serve a large patient base, seeing an average of 600 new patients per month. The practice thrives on a strong team environment, emphasizing collaboration not only between MDs and ODs, but also across all staff and the supportive management team. Deeply rooted in their communities, they donate annually to a variety of local causes.

D’Ambrosio Eye Care is offering the following:
  • Competitive compensation
  • Medical and dental insurance
  • Life and long-term disability insurance
  • Paid holiday, sick, and vacation time off
  • Paid malpractice Insurance
  • Continuing education allowance
  • Moving allowance if relocating
What You’ll Do:

You’ll provide full-scope optometry, working primarily Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The practice is exceptionally well-equipped, offering a comprehensive array of optometry equipment including (but not limited to) visual fields, OCT, fundus cameras, corneal topographers, and auto-refractors. They also utilize a fully certified EMR system to ensure efficient and accurate patient management. With approximately 200-250 patients seen daily across all offices, you’ll gain extensive experience and contribute significantly to patient well-being.

Who You Are:

D’Ambrosio Eye Care is seeking an Optometrist with excellent clinical skills who is comfortable diagnosing and treating ocular disease. You have a genuine desire to learn, grow, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Kindness and compassion towards both patients and staff are essential in this role. You’ll actively support the practice’s ongoing goal to fulfill their mission statement: to always be readily available to their communities for all their eye care needs, always delivered with a smile. If you have a preferred specialty, such as pediatrics, the practice is open to discussion to align with your interests. This is primarily a full-time opportunity, but the practice will consider part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

Why You’ll Love Central Massachusetts:

Central Massachusetts offers a desirable place to live, ideally situated within an hour’s drive of major New England metropolitan areas like Boston, Providence, Manchester, and Hartford. This strategic location means you get to enjoy the vibrant cultural scenes and professional opportunities of these cities while benefiting from more affordable housing options in Central Mass. The area boasts highly rated schools and welcoming small neighborhoods, making it an ideal place to raise children. Beyond daily living, you’ll also have easy access to many popular vacation spots throughout beautiful New England, from coastal getaways to scenic mountain retreats.

Required Qualifications:
  • Massachusetts Optometry License (or eligible to obtain MA license if a new graduate or relocating to Massachusetts)
