Eyetastic Services, LLC in Newport, Vermont seeks a dedicated Optometrist (full-time or part-time) to perform comprehensive eye exams and manage eye diseases with a supportive team. The role emphasizes patient education, collaboration, and high-quality eye care in a community-focused practice.

The practice handles 18-20 patients daily and offers a base salary of $150,000, signing/relocation benefits up to $5,000, two weeks of vacation, one week of sick leave, and a CME allowance up to $500.

Qualifications

• Valid optometry license required or in progress.
• 4th-year students encouraged to apply.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing eye conditions.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams to assess visual acuity and eye health.
• Diagnose and manage eye diseases and conditions (glaucoma, cataracts).
• Provide patient education on eye health and proper vision care practices.
• Offer pre- and post-operative care for eye surgeries.
• Prescribe medications for eye conditions and manage treatment plans.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
