Job summary

Axis Eye Optometric Group in Elk Grove, California, is seeking a full-time Optometrist to deliver comprehensive eye care in a patient-centered boutique setting. You will perform exams, diagnose ocular disease, prescribe and dispense lenses, and educate patients using advanced diagnostic technology, including digital retinal imaging.

The role typically includes about eight hours of patient care per day and a patient volume of roughly 16–18 patients daily, with a supportive team and on-site

Qualifications

• OD degree with California licensure (TPA certificate preferred).
• 1–3 years clinical practice; new grads welcome.

What you'll do:

As a full-time Optometrist, you'll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages in a high-end boutique clinic setting, performing eye exams, diagnosing and assisting in the treatment of ocular disease, prescribing and dispensing corrective lenses, managing eye emergencies, and educating patients on healthy vision practices. Supported by a cross-trained team, you'll use advanced diagnostic technology, including digital retinal imaging, to deliver a seamless patient experience throughout each encounter. This role includes approximately eight hours of patient care daily, with an expected patient volume of about 16 to 18 patients per day,

Job Specifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
• 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
