Job summary
Hemler Family Eye Care in South-Central Pennsylvania seeks a compassionate Optometrist to join a growing private practice with advanced technology and a supportive clinical team. You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and treat ocular diseases, and co-manage cataract surgery patients in a patient-centered environment.
The position offers a competitive base salary, monthly performance bonus, and benefits including health insurance and retirement plan.
Qualifications
- OD degree from accredited school.
- Active Pennsylvania Optometry license (or willing to obtain).
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
- Compassionate demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Comprehensive eye examinations.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage ocular diseases including diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, macular degeneration and other medical eye diseases.
- Prescribe glasses and contact lenses.
- Ocular urgent care.
- Co-management of cataract surgery patients.
- Build and manage your own clinical specialty (interests in pediatrics, dry eye management, or vision therapy welcomed).
