Job summary

Colusa Indian Community Council is seeking a licensed Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye and vision care at the Colusa Optometry Clinic. Qualifications

• OD degree from an accredited optometry school.
• Current optometry license in good standing.
• One year of clinical optometry experience preferred; new graduates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Identify refractive errors and ocular diseases; diagnose and manage conditions per state law.
• Prescribe medications and treatments for eye conditions as authorized.
• Educate patients on eyeglasses, contact lenses, and vision care.
• Coordinate referrals with ophthalmologists and other healthcare providers.
