Job summary

DOCS Health in Wisconsin is seeking licensed optometrists to support military service members with refractions and eyeglass fittings.

The role primarily weekends with occasional weekday shifts, using equipment provided by DOCS Health; you will join a mobile/clinic deployment model focused on health readiness for US Army Reserve, ARNG, USNR, and other services.

Qualifications

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of WI on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
• Passionate, friendly, and caring
• Must have weekend availability
• Experience working with military - preferred
