Job summary

gpac is representing a growing practice in Windermere, FL, seeking a skilled Optometrist to join their team. This patient-focused role combines medical duties with optical sales in a supportive environment.

You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose ocular disease, prescribe lenses, and provide pre- and post-operative care, while maintaining detailed patient records for ongoing care and progress. The practice features modern technology such as Optomap, OCT, Humphrey Visual Field,

Qualifications

• OD degree required and active licensure in the US.
• Average patient load of 15–18 patients per day.
• Team player who prioritizes quality patient care and can sell from the chair.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams.
• Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular disease.
• Prescribe corrective lenses.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care to surgical patients.
• Counsel and educate patients to promote healthy vision.
• Maintain detailed patient records of diagnosis, treatment plans and progress.
• Handle eye care emergencies.

About The Optometrist Position

As an Optometrist in this practice, your regular duties will include:
