DOCS Health is seeking Optometrists to provide refractions and eyeglass fittings for our Military Service members in New York, primarily on weekends with occasional weekday availability. We support U.S. Army Reserve, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, and USAFR to maintain deployable forces.

Active and unrestricted state licensure is required. Weekend availability is essential; military experience is preferred.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members. We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of New York on an "as needed basis". We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
