Job summary

DOCS Health in New York is seeking optometrists to provide refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members, primarily on weekends with occasional weekdays as needed. Our fixed-clinic, mobile treatment center model supports flexible deployment across New York state. Must hold an active NY license and be available weekends; weekend availability is required.

Prior military experience is a plus. A background check and E-Verify are part of the process, and we are an equal opportunity

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members. We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of New York on an "as needed basis". We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)
