NC Health is seeking a Per Diem Optometrist to provide comprehensive eye care within a concierge model at Cisco LifeConnections Health Center in Durham, NC. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, whole-person eye care and patient-focused service.

Responsibilities include eye examinations, diagnosing ocular conditions, prescribing lenses, and documenting in the EMR. Per diem schedule offers flexibility and strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of optometry.
• Two years experience as an optometrist.
• Licensure/certification to practice optometry in NC.

Position Summary: The Per Diem Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services for clinic patients, working closely with members of our multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, whole-person care. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.

Clinic Hours

• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Schedule frequency and hours will be based on patient demand and mutual availability.
