Job summary

ETS Vision in Charlotte, NC is hiring a full-time Doctor of Optometry to join an eye care team west of the city. The practice offers a generous base salary of $150,000 plus production bonuses and a supportive work environment focused on patient care.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage visual disorders and eye diseases.

• Perform comprehensive eye exams with accuracy under time pressure.
• Educate patients on eye health and contact lens care.
• Refer to other providers as needed and evaluate systemic conditions.

Great opportunity for an Optometrist to join an Optometry practice just west of Charlotte, NC. $150,000 + production bonuses

This practice is actively hiring for a full-time OD in Charlotte, NC. There, you will find experienced and helpful teams of eye care professionals dedicated to meeting their patients’ eye health needs. Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, treat and manage disorders of the visual system, eye diseases, and injuries


• Confidently and correctly prescribe glasses and contacts as needed


• Review prescriptions and identify special and complex needs


• Perform work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and patient volume


• Diagnose, treat and manage vision and eye health conditions


• In addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, be knowledgeable in treatment options using pharmaceuticals, low vision, vision therapy, and surgical procedures


• Provide pre- and postoperative care to patients undergoing eye surgery


• Evaluate patients for the presence of diseases such as diabetes and refer patients to other healthcare providers as appropriate


• Promote eye health by counseling patients, including explaining how to clean and wear contact lenses


• See 3 patients per hour
