DOCS Health is seeking an Optometrist to provide refractions and eyeglass fittings for military service members at our fixed clinics and mobile deployment models. The role emphasizes patient care with a weekend-first schedule, occasional weekday shifts, and on-site equipment supplied by DOCS Health.

Active, unrestricted optometry license required; weekend availability essential; prior military experience preferred.

Attention all Optometrists we are calling on you to work with us providing refractions and eyeglass fittings and treatment to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of __ on an "as needed basis".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include performing refractions and eyeglass fittings with equipment provided by DOCS Health.

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted license/certification in the state
• Available for weekends and occasional weekdays
• Passionate, friendly, and caring
• Must have weekend availability
• Experience working with military - preferred
