Job summary

South Florida Vision Services, a premier eye care provider serving Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach and St. Lucie counties, seeks an Optometrist to join our team. You will perform comprehensive exams, recommend vision solutions, and promote preventative eye health with patients.

Residency-trained candidates are welcome; bilingual Spanish is a plus. Candidates must hold an OD license in the state and be willing to travel between locations.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Optometry degree and active OD license in the state of practice.
  • Clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive vision exams and diagnose eye conditions.
  • Recommend vision-enhancing solutions and preventive eye care.
  • Promote patient education and follow-up care.
  • Collaborate with ophthalmologists and subspecialists.
  • Travel between South Florida locations as needed.

We're looking for an Optometrist excited to join forces with a highly regarded practice group. You'll perform comprehensive vision exams, recommend vision-enhancing solutions, and promote preventative eye health through patient education. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate and expand your skillset with other Optometrists and Ophthalmologists as well as subspecialties such as cornea, glaucoma, retina, refractive, and oculoplastic.
