About the Role

Work primarily weekends with occasional weekdays as needed. Provide health readiness services to meet the medical requirements for U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Marine Forces Reserve, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Responsibilities

• Perform refractions and eyeglass fittings with DOCS Health equipment.
• Assist with vision screening and treatment for military members.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted optometry license/certification in Iowa.
• Weekend availability and occasional weekday availability.
• Passionate, friendly, and caring demeanor.
• Preferred: Experience working with military members.
