Eye-Q Vision Care in Central California is seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our Fresno/Clovis/Selma team. You will perform comprehensive eye exams, diagnose and manage vision conditions, prescribe lenses, and co-manage medical and surgical cases with ophthalmology.

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution and current, unrestricted California optometry license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Clinical expertise in comprehensive eye exams, refraction, contact lens fitting, and management of common ocular conditions (e.g., dry eye, glaucoma co-management, post-operative care).
• Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventive eye care in a clear, compassionate manner.
• Experience working collaboratively with ophthalmologists and multidisciplinary teams in a medical or surgical eye care setting is highly beneficial.
• Proficiency with electronic health records and comfort using diagnostic technologies and imaging equipment (e.g., OCT, visual fields, corneal topography).
• Ability to manage a steady patient schedule while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice, and keeping current with advances in optometry and ophthalmology.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Optometrist role is available in Fresno, Clovis, and Selma CA and focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered vision care. The Optometrist will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage vision conditions, prescribe corrective lenses, and co-manage medical and surgical eye conditions with the ophthalmology team. Daily responsibilities include documenting findings in the electronic health record, educating patients about eye health and treatment options, and collaborating closely with clinical and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow. The role also involves participating in practice-wide quality initiatives, staying current with advancements in optometry, and supporting EYE-Q’s mission to bring leading-edge eye care to the community.
