Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long‑term care facilities. This opportunity allows you to communicate and interact with a full health‑care team including nurses, primary physicians, aides, family, and ophthalmologists, and to work closely with our own administrative and professional staff who are helpful and supportive.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive routine and medical eye exams, including dilated exams
• Provide diabetic evaluations
• Treat infection and injury
• Diagnose and treat ocular disease
• Comfortably work with the geriatric population

Requirements

• OD license
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand, walk, or work on your feet up to 6‑8 hours per day
