Job summary

Total Vision is seeking an Optometrist to join our CA practices in Campbell. You will provide full-scope optometry, prescribe corrective eyewear, manage ocular disease, and deliver pre/post-operative care within a supportive team and modern clinic.

Licensed in good standing with the State Board and preferably 2+ years in a primary care setting. Exceptional patient service and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Optometrist in good standing with the State Board.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a full-scope primary care optometric office preferred.
• Strong customer service and patient communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Practice full scope Optometry as permitted by licensure and state laws.
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contacts, and other vision aids.
• Manage ocular disease as appropriate and provide pre/post-operative care.

Core Duties And Responsibilities

• Practice full scope Optometry as determined by your license and state laws.
• Prescribe, supply, fit and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
• Manage ocular disease as appropriate.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care.
• Work in a professional office with modern equipment and full support staff.

Position Requirements

• Licensed as an Optometrist with State Board.
• Prior experience working as an Optometrist in a full scope primary care optometric office, ideally at least 2 years.
• Exceptional customer service skills.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be physically able to sit for long periods of time, read a computer screen for long periods of time, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs. Hand dexterity, and eye and hand coordination critical. Employee is subject to inside environmental conditions.

Employee’s schedule may include after hour projects, as needed.

Travel between practices, as needed.
