Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams with attention to detail and patient education.
• Diagnose and treat common eye conditions such as dry eye disease, red eye emergencies, cataracts, and refractive errors.
• Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with the managing doctor, opticians, and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.
• Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens care, and preventive measures while managing patient inquiries with excellent customer service skills.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using our EHR system in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in sales of optical products when appropriate, providing professional recommendations based on patient needs.
• Stay current with medical terminology updates, anatomy knowledge, and physiology to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
