• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using our EHR system in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in sales of optical products when appropriate, providing professional recommendations.

Position Summary

We're seeking a friendly and motivated part-time optometrist to join our team two days per week. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and is comfortable working in a boutique private practice setting.

• Perform comprehensive eye exams with attention to detail and patient education
• Diagnose and treat common eye conditions such as dry eye disease, red eye emergencies, cataracts, and refractive errors
• Prescribe corrective lenses and contact lenses based on patient needs
• Collaborate with the managing doctor, opticians, and staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication
• Educate patients on eye health, proper contact lens care, and preventive measures while managing patient inquiries with excellent customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience

Qualifications

• O.D. degree with active California licensure
