Qualifications

• OD from an accredited program.
• Active Washington State optometry license or eligibility.
• Experience or interest in surgical co-management, cataracts and glaucoma.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical eye exams and advanced diagnostic testing.
• Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Manage pre- and post-operative care for cataract and glaucoma surgeries.
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists in a patient-centered, MD/OD-integrated model.
• Maintain timely EMR documentation and support referral networks.
• Engage in continuing education to enhance professional growth.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled optometrist to join our teams in Bellingham, Mount Vernon, and Smokey Point. This role is ideal for an optometrist who enjoys working in a surgical referral environment, with a focus on pre- and post-operative care for cataract and glaucoma patients.

Requirements
