Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optometric Technician to support our doctors in delivering a world-class Total Patient Experience. You will perform initial testing with optical equipment to prepare patients for exams, while upholding HIPAA and company policies.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year interacting with patients, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Favorable background check as required by state.
• Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Embrace and execute our Total Patient Experience to build relationships with all patients while delivering great medical support
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
• Operate testing equipment (lensometer, autorefractor/keratometer, retinal camera, visual field, OCT) and follow testing scripts
• Maintain clean examination equipment and assist in general office duties as needed
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment and support scheduling needs
