VSP Vision in Manhattan Beach, CA, seeks an Optometry Assistant to support Optometrists with eye examinations, pre-testing, and patient care in a fast-paced clinical setting.
You will gather patient history, operate ophthalmic instruments, assist with contact lens fitting, medications, and office coordination, while delivering clear communication and compassionate service.
Compensation range for the role is listed above. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The primary role is to assist the Optometrist with eye examinations and patient eye care, including conducting pre-testing or special testing, intaking patient history information, and guiding patients throughout the eye care and clinical experience.
The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
