Job summary

Eyetastic Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Optometric Technician to support three Manhattan-area offices. You will perform preliminary testing, assist optometrists, and relay patient information with care and professionalism.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to float between locations while delivering high-quality patient service. Training and growth opportunities are available in a collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform preliminary patient testing and collect medical history.
• Assist optometrists with visual acuity testing and pre-testing procedures.
• Administer and document autorefractor, tonometer, retinal imaging, etc.
• Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies for cleanliness and readiness.
• Accurately input data into electronic health records (EHR).
• Float between three practice locations as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient communication.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preliminary patient testing and gather patient medical history
• Assist optometrists with patient care, including visual acuity testing, lensometry, and pre-testing procedures
• Administer and document diagnostic tests (such as autorefractor, tonometer, retinal imaging, etc.)
• Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure cleanliness and readiness
• Accurately input data into electronic health records (EHR)
• Float between three practice locations as needed
• Provide excellent customer service and patient communication

Compensation:

• Hourly wage based on experience,starting from $22.00
