Eyetastic Services, LLC in Costa Mesa is hiring an Optometric Technician to support pre-testing, patient flow, and eyewear services in a growing eye care practice. You’ll work with doctors to perform tests, document findings, and assist with frame styling and dispensing.

The role emphasizes independent pre-testing, patient education, and maintaining clinical equipment in a friendly, team-oriented environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a retail optometry office.
• Strong optometric pre-testing skills and comfort working independently.
• Experience with optical sales, eyewear dispensing, and EHR documentation.
• Familiarity with vision insurance verification.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
• Bonus: Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent pre-testing, including visual acuity, auto-refraction, tonometry, retinal imaging, OCT, visual fields, and more
• Accurately document patient information and exam findings within the EHR system
• Provide optical sales support, including frame styling, lens recommendations, eyewear dispensing, and patient education
• Schedule patient appointments, manage clinic flow, and verify vision insurance benefits
• Deliver outstanding customer service and assist with patient intake, check-in, and clinic operations
• Maintain exam rooms, diagnostic equipment, and clinical supplies
