Seymour Eye Clinic in Seymour, IN is seeking an Optometric Technician I to join a patient-centered team. You will assist with exams, perform pre-screening tests, gather patient histories, and educate on vision benefits and contact lens care.

Formación

• 1+ year of customer service experience (optometric or medical experience is a plus).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, patient-focused individual to join our team as an Optometric Technician I. Whether you’re experienced or just starting out, this is your chance to grow your skills, support patients, and be part of a team that truly values both vision and compassion.

Pay : $17-20/hour

Part Time hours : Monday-Friday hours, NO WEEKENDS!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Support optometrists by performing pre-screening tests and assisting with exams
• Collect patient medical histories and explain vision benefits clearly and confidently
• Train patients on contact lens use and care
• Verify insurance, schedule appointments, and keep communication flowing smoothly
