Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $14.70 - $17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient. This role involves being knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

1. Maintain accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
2. Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.
3. Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and inform associates about patient needs to recommend suitable products and services.
4. Support daily operational activities such as restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related job experience is a plus.
